We look toward real world applications to make learning more relevant and prepare children for the modern global marketplace by focusing on 21st Century Skills. Instead of teaching science, technology, engineering, arts and math as individual, separate subjects, we are looking for ways to answer key questions using all of the STEAM disciplines together. We guide young children through developmentally appropriate exploration using toys and activities that encourage them to question, try, and learn. With the STEAM approach to learning, children learn to problem solve using various methods and tools.

It is a fun and hands on way to learn!

How does Happy Days use STEAM in their educational program?

Happy Days Child Development Center has been ahead of its time with our approach to learning! STEAM education has always been a part of our educational program and now with both of our sites having STEM Certified Directors, we are able to bring even more STEAM specific activities to enhance learning!

Our directors will bring ever changing and exciting new challenges to every age group from infants to kindergarteners. Teachers will guide young learners through exploring, problem solving, and hands on activities that highlight age appropriate Science, safe and fun Technology, the Engineering design process, beautiful Arts, and magnificent Math.
