Kindergarten Program

The Kindergarten Program at Happy Days Child Development Center is designed to fulfill the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of your five-year-old. Our teachers treat each child as a unique personality, providing the support and guidance they need to reach their maximum potential at their own pace.

Program Highlights

Language Development

We help children learn to read, write, and listen. They practice writing letters, cutting, gluing, and following directions. Math skills are developed through activities like recognizing and creating simple patterns, understanding graphs, solving story problems, recognizing numbers, counting, and writing numerals

Physical and Motor Skills Development

To support growing bodies and enhance coordination, children engage in physical education, music, movement activities, and various games. These activities are designed to build motor skills, promote physical fitness, and encourage a love for staying active.

Interactive Circle Time

Each morning, we gather for storytime, sharing, singing, poetry, science, and discussions about books and feelings. This helps children improve their communication skills and express themselves. We also have fun, supervised cooking classes that combine learning with creativity.

Afternoon & Hands-on Learning

In the afternoons, children engage in activities that reinforce the morning’s lessons. We emphasize hands-on learning through centers focused on math, language, sensory exploration, and practical life skills. These activities allow children to explore and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways, deepening their understanding and sharpening their skills.

STEAM Education

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) is an integral part of our curriculum. At Happy Days, we use real-world applications to make learning fun and relevant. By exploring, problem-solving, and engaging in hands-on activities, children use their natural curiosity to guide their learning, preparing them with essential 21st-century skills.

Parent Participation

We offer many ways for parents to get involved. Classroom parties, field trips, cultural celebrations, parades, and workshops help bring families and school together, building a strong community.
At Happy Days, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment where your infant can thrive. Let us help create a happy and secure foundation for your child’s development.
